Pesto

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves (packed tight)

  • 1 cup arugula or spinach leaves (packed tight)

  • ¼ cup Sevillano Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • ¼ cup Garlic Olive Oil

  • ½ cup pine nuts

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • ¾ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp pepper



  • STEPS:

    Combine ingredients and puree in a food processor or blender.

    Add to any pasta dish, spread on a sandwich or crostini.

     

    NOTES:

    We use this crostini on warm summer nights as one of our “Tapas Night” dishes.
